Our dedicated meetings & events floor, providing nine fully air conditioned, naturally lit meetings & events rooms, allows us to cater for 2 to 450 delegates & guests in a variety of layouts to help deliver tailored solutions for your conference in Derry or business meeting in Derry.

Our meeting & conference rooms are located on the first floor of the hotel, a dedicated floor with easy access by lifts & stairs.

All of our meeting & conference rooms come complete with FREE Wi-Fi for the convenience of all corporate delegates. If delegates are staying at the hotel they are also provided with FREE Wi-Fi in the comforts of their rooms.

Limited secure car parking is available at the hotel (40 spaces). Over 600 additional car parking spaces are located within a one minute walk of the hotel, with reduced parking rates available at the Quayside car park which is adjacent to the hotel.

Catering for both refreshment breaks may be provided within your main meeting space, an additional conference room or in our ground floor Thompsons Restaurant.

Corinthian Ballroom

Our largest conference/meetings room in the City Hotel Derry is the Corinthian Ballroom, this beautiful & grand room offers superb views of the River Foyle & Guildhall. Combined with its clean lines & mood lighting, this stylish Ballroom will complement any event. Named after the ballroom in the Old City Hotel which was famous for Ballroom dancing in the 1960’s & suitable for conferences, meetings & dining events, this space features a unique partition system the Corinthian Ballroom can be utilised as one large room or can be divided into three separate syndicate rooms. The Corinthian Lounge offers an area for registration, exhibition & networking with private function bar available on request. A private cloakroom is also available for guest use.

Alexander Room

The Alexander Suite is named after Cecil Frances Alexander who lived in Derry with her husband, Church of Ireland Bishop William Alexander. Cecil Frances Alexander was famous for publishing hymns such as ‘There is a green hill far away’ & ‘All things bright & beautiful.’ The contemporary styling in the Alexander Room allows it to easily transform from a corporate meeting room into a stylish private dining facility.
