Conference & Events Dining


Our largest conference/meetings room in the City Hotel Derry is the Corinthian Ballroom, this beautiful & grand room offers superb views of the River Foyle & Guildhall. Combined with its clean lines & mood lighting, this stylish Ballroom will complement any event. Named after the ballroom in the Old City Hotel which was famous for Ballroom dancing in the 1960’s & suitable for conferences, meetings & dining events, this space features a unique partition system the Corinthian Ballroom can be utilised as one large room or can be divided into three separate syndicate rooms. The Corinthian Lounge offers an area for registration, exhibition & networking with private function bar available on request. A private cloakroom is also available for guest use.


The Berkeley Suite is named after Dr. George Berkeley who was made Dean of Derry in 1724. This room offers floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides with views overlooking the city & historic Guildhall


A dedicate boardroom overlooking the historic Guildhall with floor to ceiling windows which flood the room with natural daylight.


The Amelia Suite is named after Amelia Earhart who unexpectedly landed in the outskirts of the City in May 1932 when she became the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic. The Amelia Suite can accommodate a variety of set up styles & is perfect for use as a breakout space for larger events.

Alexander Suite

Stylish and contemporary in design and is perfectly suited for parties of up to 70 people whilst allowing space for a dance floor and entertainment.

Writers Suite

With views overlooking the city and famous Guildhall, you can enjoy a unique setting for christenings, anniversaries and birthday parties. This room is perfectly suited for groups of up to 32 people for private dining.

McCorkell Suite

Ideal for small private dining events for groups with up to 33 guests.
